PORT 501 “CLUB”
THE DRAW: Young professionals who can press the flesh, meet like-minded folks and share laughs and gripes, all in the name of unwinding.
“Young Professional” is a frame of mind rather than a chronological achievement.
501 is a word of mouth club (with no membership required or even offered) that celebrates the last Thursday of each month at a different establishment in Port. The premise is if you get off work at 5:00 pm on the last Thursday of the month, in an ideal world you’d be at an establishment ready to quench your thirst at 5:01 pm.
A young professional new to the area had commented, “I don’t think Port’s the easiest place to move into and meet new people, much yet, other professionals.” Port 501 will certainly help this guy!!
Snacks provided, libations at own expense.
